KROKUSFESTIVAL AS A PROFESSIONAL
How to visit Krokusfestival?
We are looking forward to helping you and welcoming you in the nice, small town of Hasselt in the eastern part of Belgium. The city centre boasts with pubs, restaurants, caf?'s, shops. All can be done on foot, as is a visit to some of our tourist attractions. We will inform you about that with pleasure!
The festival centre is the cultural centre of Hasselt, also the organizer of the festival. CCHA, as it is called, is a large building with 4 venues, 4 exhibition halls and 7 meeting rooms. It presents a seasonal program of more than 350 performances and several exhibitions and welcomes yearly about 200.000 visitors. Next to Krokusfestival, CCHA organizes 3 other festivals: Nordic Night(s) at the end of October on Nordic art forms, Piano Day(s) at the end of March on all art forms including piano (works) and the bi-annual site specific festival SPOTS in September.
Best airport to fly in is Brussels, from where you can take a train to Hasselt (possible change/stop at Leuven). If you fly to Brussels South (Charleroi), note that it takes more time to get to Hasselt: bus from airport to Charleroi railway station, train to Brussels, train to Hasselt. Other options are Maastricht or Eindhoven, though public transport from there can be a problem.
If you are on our list, you should have received the 'save the dates' already and you will receive more info on the program automatically. That means info on the shows, companies and also on the professional days and meetings of the festival.?
At the same time you will receive a registration. Note that we do not work with delegate packages, you are free to select the shows and professional meetings you want to attend. Of course we are very willing to help you!
