Visual and musical poem of magical beauty.

On stage: a drawing board, various musical instruments, a large screen. This is the world of Romain and Jean-Baptiste. One draws, the other plays. Together, they lead us along the path of their ideas. We see a sketch, an eraser erasing everything, a new attempt, a car, a landscape: we hear sounds, noises, rhythm, music, ...
It seems as if we have all ended up in a story together. A story on stage with Romain and Jean-Baptiste, a story on screen with a young man who finds a photo from his childhood.

Sometimes you see a performance that astonishes, amazes, fascinates you. Antichambre was one of those when our programmer first saw it. A quality performance in images and music that moves and also surprises everyone at the end. Curious? Don't hesitate, you have to see this!

about the company

Stereoptik brings together Romain Bermond and Jean-Baptiste Maillet, both visual artists and musicians. Every one of their shows is built under the eyes of its audience, live. Theatre of shadows, of objects and puppets, silent films, unplugged or electronic concerts, fairy tales and cartoons are so many fields and genres whose boundaries Stereoptik likes to play with. At the heart of the many forms of art that appear on the stage is one principle: to show the audience the technical process that leads to the apparition of characters, of scenes, of a story. Visual, musical, and without text, Stereoptik’s creations arouse curiosity and wonder in audiences of all ages and all nationalities.
