Why not! (3+)
Why not gently shake up our (pre)judgements about the division of roles between mothers and fathers?
TOF Théâtre lets us discover the beautiful, warm alchemy that connects a "papan" (contraction of mum and dad) and his son. A connection of sometimes turbulent and clownish confrontation, but above all of a fine tenderness.
Pourquoi pas? is a wordless duo for man and pop, but above all it is a quirky, sweet and moving performance. The Walloon TOF Théâtre has been around for 30 years but continues to amaze young and not so young alike with surprising and fresh productions every time.
about the company
TOF Théâtre was founded in 1987 on the initiative of Alain Moreau. Always at the centre of the shows are the puppets who can vary in height from 5 centimetres to 5 metres. Their performances are sometimes for adults only, other times for children, and often for both. As a devotee of "reduced realism", TOF Théâtre distorts traditional manipulation techniques and offers the puppeteer to the spectator's gaze through sight manipulation. The company also takes their performances to the streets, with shows specially created for this audience.
