unRAVELed (6+)

He was a colorful figure, Maurice Ravel. Photographs often showed him wearing bright bow ties or a trendy tie. He curled up the tips of his mustache like a hipster. But above all, there are not many composers who could tell stories so colorfully with music!  
  
Zonzo Compagnie crawls into the mind of this musical master storyteller. The son of an inventor, who always kept looking around with childlike enthusiasm.   
  
The setting is a magical house with many rooms. Small spotlights illuminate scale models in plexiglas to large, moving shadows. We hear machines making sounds, movements making sounds, loop stations where musicians are duplicated and, of course, the wonderful music of the maestro himself.   

Zonzo Compagnie has been a frequent guest at Krokusfestival: 3ACH (2017), Thelonius (2019), Songs with roots (2021), roundabout #1 (2023). Why? Because they create wonderful musical performances for young and slightly less young!
