Those who are alert may see them creeping closer, gathering behind a corner or approaching in the distance. And then, suddenly, the Popoppers reappear, to surprise spectators with play and dance, and disappear again.
As in 2022, the Popoppers are still doing their thing, somewhere between dance and theatre and music and ..., always unexpected, powerful and surprising. Once you've seen them, you want to see more of them! You want to come across them again. Different. Elsewhere. And you can!
The Popoppers cannot be tamed and cannot be steered. Keep your eyes and ears open during Krokusfestival and who knows, you might have an unusual, powerful encounter with the Popoppers. You can't book tickets for them, you will meet them when and where it suits them.

about the company
Woest aims to reach a diverse audience with its site-specific performances. Not only concerning age but, as important, their background. You can’t put a label on an audience, just as you can’t put one on Woest.
Woest wants to perform at locations that do not seem to be the perfect venue at first sight, but rather let them become one naturally. The relaxed approach, the legible choreography and the uniting effect of working in an unknown space enables Woest to reach a public that would otherwise not be bothered to come in contact with dance theatre.
