Theater at school

Theater at school. Sure, in a classroom or the gymnasium. Theater Artemis takes (of course) a different approach!

They developed five theatrical performances that take place over three days throughout the entire primary school. So, every classroom, every student, every teacher—in short, everyone is involved in some way. This intervention is adventurous, unexpected, interactive, and exciting, but certainly not dangerous.

Krokusfestival chose Klusbedrijf / Handyman company.

A handyman does his seemingly simple job in slow motion. He unrolls his reel in three hours, eats his sandwich in an hour and a half, and then climbs a staircase in two hours and fifteen minutes. So far, pretty strange, but still manageable. But why is he taking all sorts of things from the classroom?

We pick up on day three: when all the children are gathered around a tower on the platform, it turns out the handyman spent three days building a work of art! Afterwards we will discuss the project with the creator, with Lobke Van Kommer (head of education at Theater Artemis) and with some pupils and teachers.
